i have never felt like i totally fit in with the spiritual community. yes, i love a moon circle, yes, i find comfort in my tarot cards and yes, i love a good crystal bath but the endlessly meditating, matcha drinking, getting up at five to do yoga, spending all vacations on top of a mountain by myself type of spirituality has never been my vibe. for a long time, i struggled with this. i felt like a fraud for spending my evenings watching real housewives on netflix instead of journaling — how could i be doing something as spiritual, as holy as making flower remedies while also spending my friday nights out with friends, enjoying as many happy hours as possible? i’d forgotten that spirituality is not something you do. it’s who you are. see, you can have a thousand crystals and still not feel like you can tap into your spirituality. yet, you can feel divinely guided when you’re making your dinner on a tuesday night. it’s you making things holy. divine. spiritual. not the other way around. more and more have i realized that the journey is finding what allows you to tap into your spirituality, rather than trying to get into the things that other people say are spiritual. the more i do this, the more i figure out what makes life big for me — the more i feel divinely guided, always. so yes, i love the healing my sound bowls can do and the way the cards just seem to get me. but i never feel more supported, more seen than when i’m hosting a big dinner for my friends. i love a reiki session but sleeping, too, is divine comfort to me. sitting in the sun outside, sharing a delicious bottle of chardonnay with my boyfriend is what it feels like to be holding space. sometimes, simply taking a long, warm shower is the most enlightened thing i can do. yesterday, before i went to bed, i slathered myself in some cheap after sun cream i had gotten on holiday last summer. the scent, the tacky glitter… it all reminded me that summer is coming, the season where i feel most myself — it was a holy practice. i would love to know if you ever feel like you don’t fit in with the spiritual community, because you do or don’t do stuff… and also… what makes you feel spiritual?

this weekend, i deleted nearly a thousand followers. bots, brands hoping for a follow back, shops that were not my vibe hoping to interest me into buying their stuff, people with so many followers i was never going to be on their radar anyway — basically anyone who wasn’t ever going to be truly interested in me or what i do.  a lot of people reacted with “why!” and i get that. i used to have the same reaction. after all, having a lot of followers looks good. it gives a brand credibility. makes it seem like this person must have something excellent to offer.  but why would i want these people, who weren’t ever in it for me or what i have to offer, taking up all this energetic space? why would i not want to make room for actual clients to come through? what am i trying to prove by keeping all these people in my energy? what are these people offering me except a little ego trip now and again?  see, you need space for manifestations to come through. if you want to manifest the perfect sweater, better make sure you have room in your closet for it! what are you telling the universe if your wardrobe is still full with other sweaters that have holes in them, or no longer fit. makes sense right?  where can you create space for true, aligned things to come through? and what are you holding onto just to prove something to the world around you?

yesterday evening i felt called to take some celestine drops before bed. when this kind of download happens it usually means something wants to reveal itself to me through my dreams but this time it was someone. my son showed up! i haven’t brought him into the physical world yet but his spirit tends to show up in dreams and meditations every once in a while and it’s always so special. this night he arrived fully visible, aged six and we had a lovely shopping sesh together. it’s always a surprise when he shows up — for a long time i wondered if i even ever wanted kids and i know for a fact i won’t be ready to have him for a while yet — but i always wake up feeling so calm and certain of myself when he’s made a visit. this was the first time i saw his physical form too, which was so lovely. thinking i have the flowers to thank for that. sharing this is making me feel very, very exposed and vulnerable. this is like cracking my heart open and showing you the pieces. but i feel you’ll treat it carefully and for that i thank you.
